Please submit your request for permission to the Director of Communications by fax (808) 441-1300; email info@prel.org; or letter addressed to PREL, 900 Fort Street Mall, Suite 1300, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813.

The following information is required for reporting purposes:

  • the material you wish to use (provide the URL)
  • how you wish to use it
  • the number of copies you would like to make
  • the audience to whom you will be distributing it.

If permission is granted, PREL requires the following acknowledgment on each copy: “This material has been reproduced with the permission of Pacific Resources for Education and Learning, www.prel.org. Copyright PREL [date].” PREL also requires one copy of the material as soon as it is reproduced.

There is usually no charge to nonprofit organizations for reproduction. Depending on the type of material and the volume requested, a fee may be charged to others.
