Program Goals and Objectives

The goals and objectives of the Nā Hoa Ho‘ōla program are as follows:

1. Prevent violence in and around schools



2. Prevent the illegal use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs (ATOD)



3. Involve parents and communities in the prevention of the illegal use of ATOD and violence-related behaviors



4. Coordinate with federal, state, school, and community efforts and resources to foster a safe and drug-free learning environment that supports student academic achievement
